Day 1, Monday, March 13, 2017 – Building Science/High Performance Building Foundation

Instructor Peter Yost will lay the groundwork for designing, specifying, and building high performance homes: homes that are energy efficient, resource-efficient, durable, healthy, and valuable. Achieving this must start with building science: understanding how energy and moisture move on, through and in our buildings.

Day 2, Tuesday, March 14, 2017 – Local and National High Performance Projects

Steve Baczek and Doug Horgan will show you how to apply building science in high performance design and construction. Steve and Doug will educate the audience through case studies of their own projects.

Day 3, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 – High Performance Building Tour

Join us on the TW Perry bus for a high performance building tour, where we will examine building design, materials, and operation/maintenance of selected buildings. During the tour and bus ride, the building science leaders will regale riders with building stories and answer any questions you may have.

• 3rd stop - Local Residential Project
